The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal System is a unique cosmetic peeling treatment formulated to achieve a true rejuvenation of skin resulting in DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT IN ITS ELASTICITY, TEXTURE AND COLOR. There is no skin that is not greatly improved after the treatment.

The best thing about this peel is that it can be applied to ANY SKIN COLOR and it contains “buffers” that prevent it from reaching the dermal level which means that you do not run the risk of burns and/or scarring/damage.

What does the chemical peel do?

Our peeling procedure corrects skin problems at the cellular level rather than just the surface. The combined acids erase fine lines, wrinkles, actinic keratosis (rough, scaly patches on the skin caused by sun exposure), shrinks enlarged pores, builds collagen & elastin to tighten the skin, repairs and reduces breakouts, controls oil, improves the appearance of post acne scarring, softens lines, and provided an even smooth skin texture. The function of our peeling is to create an even, controlled shedding of several layers of damaged cells exposing a new fresh layer of skin with a more even color and smoother texture, This allows deeper layers of new skin to be revealed. In addition, the peel stimulates new cells to grow, thereby tightening the skin which decreases wrinkling.

How long do the results of the skin renewal peeling last?

The effects of the peeling are long lasting. After the peeling, the skin continues to improve for 8 to 12 months becoming firmer and tighter, more supple and elastic and developing a smoother texture with a stable moisture balance. This is the reason that the treatment is known as the SKIN RENEWAL SYSTEM. It produces a GENUINE REJUVENATION of the skin. More important than the physical peeling is the formation of collagen which takes place in the dermis and takes 2-3 months to form. This is why we cannot see the FULL results until at least 2 months post peeling.

Depending on your skin care goals and needs you may need two peels (six weeks apart).

How does the procedure work?

First we schedule a consultation to discuss your goals and evaluate the skin. You will fill out medical history and consent forms.

Next, we will pick two consecutive days to apply the peel (the peel will sit on for two hours each day)

We will check in every day until day 7 or 8 at which point the dead skin will be ready to be removed.

YOU MUST COME INTO THE CLINIC TO HAVE YOUR DEAD SKIN REMOVED. YOU MAY NOT PULL OF PICK SKIN ON YOUR OWN OR YOU WILL RUN THE RISK OF DAMAGING YOUR SKIN..!!

What to expect:

The peel itself will give off a burning sensation that will last for the first 20 min of the application. You will have a fan for both sessions.

After BOTH applications, your skin will feel slightly sunburned. You will be given a soothing cream to apply as needed.

Day 3- there is no more burning. However, your skin will start to feel very tight, slightly itchy and start to wrinkle. The dead skin will then start to lift and by day 7 or 8 we will peel off the skin in the clinic.

We will keep in contact every day with pictures so that we can decide the appropriate day to peel off.
